This is a design detail that is exclusive to Sheehan..   The placket  (the panel that holds buttons on one side and button holes on the other) is made of leather.  This creates a rugged sophistication that can be dressed up or down. You can wash this! I love the way that the leather distresses. 

 

THIS IS THE LAST OF MY PRODUCTION ON THIS STYLE..  VEGAN LEATHERS ARE COMING IN THE SPRING....

 

I based this henley on a century old piece from my personal vintage collection.. Details include a crop shoulder seam, enhancing shoulders, as well as rib banding on sleeve to add contour to arms.  Nade from three 100% cotton fabrics, this henley is super soft, preshrunk because it is dyed after assembly for the perfect feel and fit. Antique copper finished buttons on an exposed poplin placket and a back yoke sets this henley apart.  If you are a first time purchaser this is a great place to start.
